San Diego Indivisible Downtown will meet at 2 pm on Sunday, August 26, at Border X Brewing, 2181 Logan Ave. in Barrio Logan. This will be a social event, a chance for SDID leaders to check in with members' concerns, and an opportunity for everyone to start shifting into gear for the general election. We are hosting an issue panel on Economic Justice to inform and engage the community in what issues and solutions are relevant to Economic Justice in San Diego.

The effect of gerrymandering and money in politics has shaken our democracy. But are there real solutions to these issues? How are people getting active today? San Diego Indivisible Downtown invites the public to attend a panel discussion featuring top experts in the field.
Come to one of these one hour training events and learn to sign up new voters! The classes will be held at a private home and I will send you the address once you have confirmed your attendance. We need to limit the group to about 15 people or so for each class.
WOC Roar Breakfast (WRB) is a celebration for women in San Diego County.
It is fitting that we launch Black History Month lifting up and amplifying the voice of the women carrying the Democratic Party to victory.
The impact of the stunning upset wins in Virginia and Alabama sent a clear message that Black women are the decisive voters in the Democratic Party.
On January 20, 2018, we will unite in San Diego to reaffirm our commitment to building a positive and just future for all, and to celebrate the spirit of resistance efforts over the past year. This march is designed to engage and empower voters to support women's rights, human rights, social and environmental justice, and to encourage participation in 2018 midterm elections.
New members are invited to arrive at 1:30pm, and our meeting will start at 2:00. The meeting should wrap up around 3:30 - please stay after and join us for our 2nd Activism Rocks party! We'll be painting rocks to leave around San Diego with positive messages and some Indivisible info.
Join us as we come together in solidarity for all who have been assaulted: verbally, physically or sexually. The time has arrived to increase awareness to the depth of this problem, deepen our stand against it and come together to heal and move into celebrating with love the lives of all !

It's been an equally stressful & rewarding year. I've said goodbye to a lot of friends that I realize don't share my values. ....But I have said hello to so many wonderful new friends who share my principles and are willing to stand by them.
I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday then relaxing and just having fun with all of you. It would be great to celebrate our Resistance family & all we have accomplished! All play & No work !

On July 15th, we will come out to support our local LGBTQA community & march by their side at the Gay Pride Parade.
Let's march together as one Indivisible group. This is also an opportunity for us to come together & reflect with Pride of our Resistance effort during these six months.
Join us as San Diego stands in Solidarity with Resistance actions taking place across the country to Save the ACA!
We will start with a die-in, enjoy Special Guest Speakers, share prayers, testimonials, songs and end with a short walk to hold a brief candlelight vigil in front of UCSD hospital.
