This Sunday instead of our usual chapter meeting, we are hitting the streets and the phone lines to get out the vote for some of our endorsed campaigns! 

Whether you are a newbie to canvassing and phone banking or a seasoned door-knocker and phone-dialer, you can contribute and get these progressive candidates elected. 

Do you know what choices you'll make on your ballot in November? If not, our upcoming voter guide will help you make informed decisions. However, for these high stakes midterm elections we will also be endorsing candidates based on alignment with our values and with input from 👉YOU.👈

San Diego Indivisible Downtown will meet at 2 pm on Sunday, August 26, at Border X Brewing, 2181 Logan Ave. in Barrio Logan.  This will be a social event, a chance for SDID leaders to check in with members' concerns, and an opportunity for everyone to start shifting into gear for the general election. As you can tell by the news every day, your country needs you!

We are hosting an issue panel on Economic Justice to inform and engage the community in what issues and solutions are relevant to Economic Justice in San Diego. 

Panel will include representation from the Jacobs Center, Center on Policy Initiatives, and more. Confirmed panelists will be posted soon! We hope you can join us. 

We are having another issue panel - this time on Healthcare!

Open to the public; all ages welcome. Please park at the San Diego Automotive Museum lot. While parking spots are available, since Balboa Park gets crowded on Sundays, consider taking public transportation or leaving some extra time to find a parking spot.

The effect of gerrymandering and money in politics has shaken our democracy. But are there real solutions to these issues? How are people getting active today? San Diego Indivisible Downtown invites the public to attend a panel discussion featuring top experts in the field.

Come to one of these one hour training events and learn to sign up new voters! The classes will be held at a private home and I will send you the address once you have confirmed your attendance. We need to limit the group to about 15 people or so for each class.

WOC Roar Breakfast (WRB) is a celebration for women in San Diego County.

It is fitting that we launch Black History Month lifting up and amplifying the voice of the women carrying the Democratic Party to victory.

The impact of the stunning upset wins in Virginia and Alabama sent a clear message that Black women are the decisive voters in the Democratic Party.

New members are invited to arrive at 1:30pm, and our meeting will start at 2:00. The meeting should wrap up around 3:30 - please stay after and join us for our 2nd Activism Rocks party! We'll be painting rocks to leave around San Diego with positive messages and some Indivisible info.

Concerned about the TaxScam that the passed the house? Help us text into red states to activate resistance and target senators that can make the difference in this measure passing or failing.We can do this, and we must! 
 

Join us as we come together in solidarity for all who have been assaulted: verbally, physically or sexually. The time has arrived to increase awareness to the depth of this problem, deepen our stand against it and come together to heal and move into celebrating with love the lives of all !

Join us for a day of outreach at beautiful Balboa Park. We need volunteers to help register voters and help people get involved in the outreach.

It's been an equally stressful & rewarding year. I've said goodbye to a lot of friends that I realize don't share my values. ....But I have said hello to so many wonderful new friends who share my principles and are willing to stand by them.

I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday then relaxing and just having fun with all of you. It would be great to celebrate our Resistance family & all we have accomplished! All play & No work !
