We’ve seen firsthand the results of corruption and interference in elections. There is simply not equal opportunity for all candidates to put together government built on principles that matter to them. Winning candidates are pushed across the finish line by funding from special interest groups and corporate sponsors, and govern accordingly.
As we gear up for the next election cycle, we have the chance to level the playing field a bit here in San Diego.
